Alessandra Mariano is a rising junior at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA. She has been studying piano with Mila Filatova since she was six years old. She has performed in masterclasses with Max Levinson, Matthew Odell, Alexander Korsantia, and Tamara Poddubnaya.
Alessandra has participated and won multiple competitions, including the Chopin Competition, the Crescendo International Competition, NHMTA Competition (solo and duet), the Plymouth State University Contemporary Piano Competition, and the Granite State Competition. Alessandra has also performed at Carnegie Hall three times. Alessandra has performed as a guest soloist with the Parlarte Symphony Orchestra in Perugia, Italy, the Nashua Chamber Orchestra, Sempre Musick Symphony Orchestra, and the New Hampshire Philharmonic Orchestra. She enjoys performing at local nursing homes in New Hampshire and at the Omni Mount Washington Resort during holiday events since 2011.
In May 2019, Alessandra received the Grand Prix in Fidelity Investments’ Young Artists Competition, and performed with the Boston Pops orchestra under maestro Keith Lockhart.
